After serving as Plan Counselor for BeWell@Home, Dina was promoted to Program Director in 2022. She has experience working with individuals in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, home care, and hospice. This experience gives her the knowledge to help people talk about the options they have in planning for long-term care. Dina attended the College of Charleston, and received a B.A. in Communications and Health Promotions.
A Charleston native, Dina enjoys spending her free time on the beach reading a good book, participating in art and craft projects, and visiting family on the Australia coast. She currently lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, bird, and three pug dogs.
Rose Funsch, RN joins BeWell@Home as Wellness Coordinator and works closely with members to coordinate care and navigate their wellness plan.
Rose holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University and began her career at Hershey Medical Center. As a Navy psychiatrist’s spouse, Rose lived and work in various states and abroad, before settling in Mount Pleasant in 1990. With a diverse background in Acute Care, Subacute Care, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living, Rose has served in roles ranging from staff nurse to Director of Nursing and Administrator. Her extensive clinical and leadership experience makes her a valuable addition to our team.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, art, crafts, reading, going to the gym, walking, Silver Sneakers, and spending time with family and friends.
Sunny joins us with more than 24 years of healthcare experience. She spent 19 years in dermatology before pursuing her passion for serving aging adults. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work, with a focus on hospice care and bereavement counseling. “It is my true calling to support aging adults, especially those without a support system,” she shares.
Outside of work, Sunny enjoys cooking, painting, paddleboarding, biking West Ashley’s Green Way, and live music. She lives in Charleston with her labradoodle, Marley, and is grateful to have family close by. She looks forward to traveling more, creating art, and focusing on wellness.
Jennifer Waters joins BeWell@Home as Plan Counselor, where she coordinates educational seminars and supports new member recruitment.
A Texas native, Jennifer holds a BFA from the University of Houston and brings nearly a decade of experience working with aging adults. Prior to joining BeWell@Home, she served as Administrative Assistant to the Senior Director of Independent Living at Franke at Seaside from 2014 to 2023. She is passionate about helping older adults find care solutions that support independence at home.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her high school–aged daughter.
