According to the National Council on Aging, falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries for older Americans. These potentially tragic events endanger one's independence and also result in large healthcare costs. However, falls as a result of aging are preventable.

As a member of BeWell@Home, a personal Wellness Coordinator will make yearly house visits to ensure your home is as safe as possible for you to age in place. Simple modifications like securing area rugs and adding grab bars in the bathroom could save your life. Visit www.bewellathome.org to learn more about staying in your home and keeping it safe.
